LIMITED WARRANTY STATEMENT

This limited warranty shall apply to POCO products. For handset defects under normal use circumstances and at the discretion of the company, Xiaomi shall provide free of charge repair service within the warranty period.

The Limited Warranty starts from the day the customer receives the product.

SUPPLEMENTARY SPECIFICATION

  1. This limited warranty is only valid in Malaysia, and the product is not eligible for any international warranty service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, warranty service may only be performed by POCO or PCOO authorized service centers.

  2. Xiaomi may conduct diagnostic tests on customers' products to identify the causes of failures/defects. Before returning any unit for service, customer should back up data and remove any confidential and/or personal information from the product. Xiaomi is not responsible for damage or loss of any program, data, or removable storage media.

  3. Prior to contacting a POCO service agent, please prepare to provide the following information is at hand:

    • Model, serial number, and IMEI number if available.
    • Customer’s full address and contact information.
    • Purchase order number, a copy of the customer’s original invoice/receipt.
  4. The warranty in respect of a repaired product/part will continue to be warranted for the remaining of its warranty period, or 30 days from the date of completion of repair, whichever is longer.

  5. The warranty will continue in the event that the product is found to be defective after OTA upgrade released by Xiaomi officially (no hardware defects).

  6. This warranty does not cover the following cases:

    • The product serial number, IMEI number or warranty seal is illegible or has been removed, erased, defaced, altered, and/or tampered. If any accessory or external part of the product is missing.
    • Any damage occurs in/on outer surface of the product, including but not limited to cracks, dents or scratches on the exterior cases, screens, camera lenses, buttons and other attachments.
    • Deterioration of the product caused by normal wearing and tearing, including but not limited to rust or stains;
    • Any other circumstances that are contradictory or are not in compliance with business ethics.
  7. Xiaomi will determine whether a product is "Out of Warranty" at the company’s discretion according to the standards listed above. Repair of Out of Warranty products shall be separately quoted by the POCO service center and respective service shall be provided upon service fee payment.

POCO X4 GT Premium Service Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

POCO X4 GT Premium Service (“Campaign”) is organized by Xiaomi H.K. Limited registered at Suite 3209, 32/F, Tower 5, The Gateway, Harbour City, 15 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong (“Organiser / Xiaomi”). This Campaign will commence from 23 June 2022 to 22 June 2023 (“Campaign Period”).

2. Eligibility

This Campaign is open to all consumers in Malaysia (“Consumer”) who purchased POCO X4 GT (“Product”) from a participating authorized sales channel (online or offline) and activated locally within the Campaign Period.

3. Campaign Mechanism

Free One-Time Screen Replacement (within six (6) months upon purchase)
• During the period of six (6) months, starting from the date of purchase of the Product within the Campaign Period, Organiser will provide Consumer a one-time free screen replacement service for cracked display screen for the Product. This free screen replacement covers damage to the display screen of the Product due non-intentional action by Consumer (for example, non-intentional falling of the Product).
• Consumer must produce the original proof of purchase of the Product for verification purpose. Xiaomi authorised service center will then verify the original proof of purchase and determine whether the Product is eligible for one-time free screen replacement service.
• Consumer is only entitled to participate in this Campaign for one time and any repair of the screen, including the replacement of screen (if required), shall be free of charge.
• This one-time free screen replacement will not apply to the following scenarios:
o damage to the screen caused intentionally or with gross negligence;
o damages affecting only the surface of the screen, such as scratches or other aesthetic appearance of the screen;
o damages incurred by malware, unauthorized software or third-party apps used by the Consumer;
o usage of Product other than its normal and Consumer manner;
o spillage of food or liquid, corrosion, rust or the use of wrong voltage;
o lightning, accident or negligible use;
o damage caused by force majeure events such as war, fire, typhoon, flood or earthquake or similar events beyond the control of the Organiser;
o Consumer does not provide the invoice of the purchase or delivery bill;
o serial number and/or the IMEI number is damaged or has been removed or tampered;
o Product is counterfeit and has not been manufactured by Organiser;
o defect is caused by an unintended use or uses that are contrary to Organiser’s or the Organiser´s instructions, manuals or guidelines;
o defect arises from the Consumer’s own or unauthorized repair / manipulation / alteration / modification, or the use of non-authorized or non-original spare parts, software, or components on the Product;
o damages or alteration of the screen have to be replaced with a new Product. Such replacement will be subject to the legal warranty policy.

4. Other Terms and Conditions

(a) By participating in this Campaign, Consumer agrees to be bound by this Terms and Conditions and Organiser’s decisions are final and binding. Organiser’s decisions are final and there shall be no appeal entertained and/or allowed. Consumer shall not resort to court proceedings to review Organiser’s decision.

(b) This Campaign is an additional warranty provided by the Organiser during the Campaign Period on top of the existing legal warranty published on https://www.mi.com/global/service/warranty.

(c) By participating in this Campaign and providing the personal data, Consumer acknowledges that he/she agrees and consents to the use, processing and transfer of his/her personal data by Organiser as described in the Privacy Notice at https://www.mi.com/my/about/privacy.

(d) Organiser reserves the rights to modify and/or cancel any of the stated terms and conditions at any time without notice. Consumer are encouraged to check from time to time to view any amendments and/or changes made to the stated terms and conditions.

(e) To the fullest extent permissible by laws, Consumer agrees to discharge and release Organiser and its employees, officers ,directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, advertising, promotion, fulfilment agencies and third party service providers, from any liabilities and claims (including from breach of contract, tort, negligence or any other cause of actions at law or equity) arising out of or in any way connected to this Campaign.

(f) The terms and conditions of this Campaign shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

POCO F4 Premium Service Terms and Conditions

This Campaign will commence from 26th April 2022 up to 26th April 2023 (“Campaign Period”).

2. Eligibility

This Campaign is open to all consumers in Malaysia (“Consumer”) who purchased POCO F4 GT (“Product”) from a participating authorized sales channel and activated locally within the Campaign Period.

3. Campaign Mechanism

Free Screen Replacement (within six (6) months upon purchase)

POCO X3 PRO/POCO F3 Premium Service

End users who purchased POCO X3 Pro/POCO F3 in any POCO local authorized sales channel and activated locally, will get:

1. SCREEN PROTECTION GUARANTEE,

Additionally to the consumer rights granted by the legal warranty and according to the terms which are published on https://www.mi.com/global/service/warranty or //www.po.co/global/service/warranty/ , the following voluntary additional and free of charge commercial guarantee shall apply to all consumers in Territory of Malayisa Malaysia (“Consumer”). The commercial guarantee is offered by Xiaomi H.K. Limited registered at Suite 3209, 32/F, Tower 5, The Gateway, Harbour City, 15 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong

A) SCOPE

Consumers who purchase a POCO X3 Pro/POCO F3 (“Product”) between the 24th March 2021 and 24th May 2022, at any official sales channel (online or offline) of Xiaomi in the Territory of Malayisa (“Territory”) and activate the Smartphone within the Territory, will be eligible to a one-time (1) free repair service at the local POCOi´s Service Center during the first six (6) months after the purchase, if the screen of the above mentioned Products is damaged or faulty by a non-intentional action by Consumer (i.e. like non-intentional falling of the Product).

Such repair of the screen shall be free of any charge and includes, if need be, the replacement of the screen also free of any charge.

In order to benefit from this commercial guarantee, Consumers must contact the POCO Customer Support. Consumers might be requested to send the invoice of the purchase or the delivery bill.

B) EXCLUSIONS

This commercial guarantee shall not be applicable or cover to the following cases:
I. Damage to the screen caused intentionally or with gross negligence;
II. Damages affecting only the surface of the screen, such as scratches or other aesthetic appearance of the screen;
III. Damages incurred by malware, unauthorized software or third-party apps used by the Consumer.

Moreover, the commercial warranty shall as well not in any of the following cases:
I. The Consumer does not disclose the invoice of the purchase or delivery bill;
II. The serial number and/or the IMEI number is damaged or has been removed or tampered;
III. The Product is counterfeit and has not been manufactured by Xiaomi;
IV. The defect is caused by a non-intended purposes use or contrary to Xiaomi’s or the seller's instructions, manuals or guidelines;
V. The defect arises from the Consumer’s own or unauthorized repair/manipulation, or the use of non-authorized or non-original spare parts, software or components.

This commercial warranty is not applicable to Products that, due to the damages or alteration of the screen, have to be replaced with a new Product. Such replacement will be subject to the legal warranty standards.

Nothing in this Commercial Guarantee shall limit Consumers rights under the applicable law.
